Born in 1952, Margaret is the biological daughter of William and Inez "Jackie" Fuss & the adoptive sibling of Melissa Erives Fuss Able, Charles Allen Fuss, & David Fuss. Questions remain as to who actually committed the murder & Margaret's participation remains unclear.
Margaret's complex family relationships, by birth & adoption, are detailed, below, & their connections to 2 murders.
In 1999, along with her adoptive sister, Melissa, Margaret plea bargained for a reduced sentence of 10 years in exchange for testifying against Melissa's biological brother Joel Domingues (who had been adopted out to a different adoptive family). She is 5'6", 163 lbs, Caucasian, with Blue eyes & Gray hair.
She was convicted of Burglary & Voluntary Manslaughter. Her 10-year sentence began 11-13-00, with earliest Release date 6-14-09 & tentative parole 3-09.

THE BIRTH & ADOPTIVE RELATIONSHIPS THAT CONNECT TWO MURDERS
THE MURDER VICTIMS:
>>>1996 MURDER VICTIM: INEZ ‘JACKIE' FUSS, whose husband WILLIAM FUSS died in 1993, was the adoptive mother of CHARLES ALLEN FUSS, who was found Guilty but Mentally Ill and convicted of murdering Jackie who was then age 72) with axe, it is believed CHARLES was framed by his adoptive sisters, MELISSA & MARGARET to keep him from inheriting; MELISSA's own mother SANDRA accuses her of the 2 murders; CHARLES was later diagnosed as "schizophrenic"; "JACKIE" was biological mother of MARGARET FUSS BRANCH, who resented her adoptive siblings becoming Jackie's heirs; "Jackie" was adoptive mother of MELISSA FUSS ABLE (ERIVES)& DAVID FUSS; DAVID's bio mother, JOYCE BURGE of Cartersville, GA, was age 20 with 2 children when she gave up CHARLES for adoption because (she said) her family couldn't afford 3 children.
>>>1999 MURDER VICTIM: KELLEY LINDSEY FUSS, wife of DAVID ALAN FUSS who is adoptive brother of MARGARET FUSS & MELISSA FUSS (ERIVRS). The following were originally charged with her murder: –MARGARET FUSS BRANCH (convicted for Voluntary Manslaughter - 10 yr. sentence) –MELISSA ERIVES FUSS ABLE (Melissa turned on Joel, with plea & testified against Joel- in exchange for a 10 yr. sentence for Robbery) –JOEL BENSING VALADEZ DOMINGUES (who by all accounts is innocent of the murder - convicted of Murder - Life Sentence)
THE RELATIVES:
o SANDRA RACE BENSING DOMINGUES CANO SAUCEDA aka "Mary Doe" in Doe v. Bolton, abortion test case in Supreme Court at same time as Doe v. Wade; Sandra had 4 children, beginning with Joel when Sandra was 17; they are: JOEL, MELISSA, SANDY, APRIL by same father, Joel Bensing. Sandra receives $625/mo for disability, is raising April's sons, Joseph & Michael, & was sending Joel money when she could. Sandra's maiden name was RACE; Sandra's husbands were: (1) Joel BENSING JR (Joel Sr. is his father & Joel Domingues is Sandra & Joel Jr's son) (2) Saturmino CANO (3) Fabian VALADEZ DOMINGUES (Joel's step-father) (4) Sandra is still with SAUCEDA. SANDRA's father died when she was 18 & her mother remarried.
o JOEL LEE BENSING SR, Sandra's first ex-husband, is Joel Lee's biological father who in 1971 was imprisoned for kidnapping & molesting 3 children in 3 months; he served only a couple years of his 25 year sentence, then died from a brain tumor while driving which caused a car accident. Because Melissa found her father before she found her mother, Sandra was asked whether Bensing may have molested Melissa as well; Sandra does not know but suspected. His father Joel Jr's Grandfather) was also JOEL LEE BENSING, who is last known to reside in a trailer park in a small Georgia town & it's uncertain whether he is still living.
o JOEL LEE BENSING VALADEZ DOMINGUES - called "Lee" by his biological mother Sandra Race Cano Domingues; biological son of Joel Sr.; diagnosed in childhood as "mildly Autistic"; Joel's attorney argued that Joel was used (by Melissa)as a pawn re the murder & that Joel has an IQ of 73 Joel's name was changed several times by several foster parents: His birth name is JOEL LEE BENSING JR; first changed by adopters, Mr. & Mrs. ASKEW; then by adopters Mr. & Mrs. Raymond C. GABRIEL; possibly again in foster care as SMITH, then re-adopted by bio-mother SANDRA RACE DOMINGUES & 2nd husband Fabian Valadez DOMINGUES; Joel described himself in his initial contact with AmFOR in 2005, for his web page, as being 5'10," 230 lbs., with Blond hair, Blue eyes, & "in good shape-- I work out, am muscular & able to handle myself." Joel wrote that he likes the outdoors & says he "would enjoy camping with the right person in his life, country western music & can dance." Initial hope when The Justice Foundation of Texas took his case turned to despair, tho Kathleen Cassidy, formerly of Justice Foundation and who is not a criminal defense lawyer, now along with a Georgia lawyer, are Appealing Joel's conviction, pro bono.
o MELISSA FUSS ABLE (ERIVES), nicknamed "Lisa" biological daughter of Sandra Cano, bio sister of Joel, although when the County took Melissa's children to foster care & threatened to arrest them for incest and negligence, Melissa produced a DNA test from Kentucky alleging she and Joel were not biological brother & sister; Sandra, who reported the two to authorities for being in an incestuous relationship, maintains that the Kentucky DNA test result was a fraud--that they are full brother and sister. Melissa & Joel had 2 children together -- Vicki, & Jessica who is now 21 & visits Joel in prison. Joel and Melissa were were indicted for incest in 1999 but never convicted & reportedly Joel did not know Melissa was his sister when they met due to being adopted separately, and not until well after their daughter Vicki was born; it's unclear when Melissa knew. Her mother fears Melissa will carry out her threat to kill her & states that Melissa had attempted to in the past. Melissa has 2 other daughters, Stephanie & Tiffany, by Bobby Able. Sandra states Melissa was sent to a reformatory by her adopter, Inez {"Jackie") Fuss for allegedly prostituting at age 9 & was not permitted to be in certain areas of the house, while Jackie's husband was made to live in a trailer outside the house. Melissa was punished for fire setting by Jackie throwing lighted matches at Melissa. [See webpage on this site titled "ADOPTED CHILD SYNDROME" -- behaviors including fire-setting by abused adoptees.]

According to a former adoptions social worker for Riverside County, California, sexual relationships and marriages among adoptees of sealed adoptions, unaware of their brother-sister relationships, are more prevalent than the general public knows.
o APRIL LYNN BENSING EGAN- Biological daughter of Sandra Cano, bio-sibling of Joel; she was adopted separately from Joel; April has 2 developmentally disabled children, Joseph & Michael, who are being raised by her mother, Sandra Cano Sauceda

o JESSICA - Joel and previous wife Tami's daughter who visits Joel in prison.
