Update from earlier posts. Now have reason to believe Donor #1073 was donating AT LEAST 7 or 8 years prior to 1988. This was well before donor lists were being sent to doctors' offices/clinics so it is possible many recipient moms were led to believe donation was fresh not frozen. Donor #1073 description: dark brown hair, blue eyes, O+ bloodtype, 162 lbs, 5'11", french/german, Engineer/Mech. (this was from the list I was given in Feb. 1987) I have additional info now but don't know when it was gathered by the bank. My daughter is 5'2", has dark brown hair with reddish highlights (that might be from me), heavy upperlids, petite hands and hazel (blue/green/brown) eyes. She loves English literature and writing. Donor is said to enjoy poetry/sculpting. I also learned he was actually an operations mechanic with certificates in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and plumbing).

My apologies for the repost but I wanted to clarify that the nurse at the clinic did not know the donor personally, but rather was under the impression that she had met him and thought he was nice.
Unfortunately, I do not have a donor ID number. I am also on the Donor Sibling Registry, however I have not had much luck there yet. Donor was reportedly: Eastern European, 6'3 (like the rest of these details, not 100ure about height), blonde hair, blue eyes, in law or med school, interested in music and also, had 'a good sense of humor'. He had a sister who'd d had difficulties conceiving and so he wanted to help out other women like her. Unfortunately, I do not have a donor ID number. I am also on the Donor Sibling Registry, however I have not had much luck there yet.
Donor was reportedly: Eastern European, 6'3, blonde hair, blue eyes, in law or med school, interested in music and also, had 'a good sense of humor' (according to the nurse at the clinic who was friends with him). He had a sister who'd d had difficulties conceiving and so he wanted to help out other women like her. He chose the option of knowing if his donation resulted in a live birth, but did not choose the option of allowing contact with the child. He may have been around age 23 in 1984 when he donated, but we may be mistaken about his age.

I know this was a long time ago, but I am hoping that there may be other donor offspring out there conceived at that time who may be looking for the donor.
